ACTIVE Injection Kit – D offers rapid and potent steroid therapy with a single injection of Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate, USP 10 mg/mL. Dexamethasone provides anti-inflammatory action in disorders of many organ systems, delivering relief across a broad spectrum of conditions including endocrine, rheumatic, respiratory, and dermatologic diseases. Recent studies also point to its efficacy for submucosal injections to alleviate edema from dental work and its ability to decrease post-surgical antiemetic and narcotic requirements.

Pharmaceutica North America provides high-quality products that are manufactured and distributed in accordance with cGMP at an FDA and DEA registered facility. As one of the nation’s leading compounding pharmaceutical companies, we’re proud to offer ACTIVE Injection Kit – D, which is cost effective and saves preparation time with a single dose of pre-measured Dexamethasone packaged together with needles, syringe, powder-free gloves, povidone-iodine swabs, and all components needed for a sterile injection.

Approved and Potential Uses of Dexamethasone Injection:

Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate is a synthetic glucocorticoid that controls or prevents inflammation through multiple mechanisms including suppression of leukocyte migration, decreased lymphocyte proliferation, reduced capillary permeability, and inhibition of proinflammatory cytokines. Dexamethasone achieves rapid action compared to other steroids due to its high solubility. As a result, it’s recommended for acute disorders that are responsive to adrenocortical steroid therapy. It also has an inhibitory effect on immune cells, which further boosts efficacy in treating acute manifestations of inflammatory and autoimmune disorders.

Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate, USP 10 mg/mL is intended for intramuscular or intravenous injection. Consider using the ACTIVE Injection Kit – D for the following conditions:
